These terms are an agreement between you and Preflop Edge ("we", "us"). By using preflopedge.com you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18, and old enough to play poker legally where you live. You're responsible for following your local laws.
What Preflop Edge is (and isn't)
Preflop Edge is an educational tool for studying poker. It is not a gambling site, takes no bets and pays no money. Nothing on the site is a promise that you'll win. Poker involves luck and risk, and you're responsible for your own decisions at the table. Please play responsibly. If gambling stops being fun, organisations such as the National Council on Problem Gambling (1-800-GAMBLER in the US) can help.
How accurate the numbers are
Our equity numbers come from exact enumeration or large computer simulations. They're accurate estimates, but small differences from other tools are normal. They describe all-in equity before the flop and don't account for how a hand is actually played.
Your account
Keep your login private. You're responsible for activity on your account. One account per person; accounts can't be shared or resold.
Purchases and subscriptions
Prices are shown before you pay and are charged by Stripe.
- Study packs are a one-time payment and give you lasting access to that pack.
- All-Access monthly and yearly renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Manage billing, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- All sales are final, as described in our Purchase & refund policy, which is part of these terms. This doesn't limit any rights you have under consumer law.
We may change prices for new purchases. If we change the price of your subscription, we'll tell you before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
What you can do with the content
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the site and its tools for your own study. Please don't:
- copy, resell, republish or redistribute our charts, data or tools;
- scrape or bulk-download the site, or try to get around the paywall;
- use the site to cheat, for example with real-time assistance where that's against a poker room's rules;
- interfere with the site or other users.
The free cheat sheet is the exception: you're welcome to print it and share it, as long as you leave the Preflop Edge name on it.
Our content, design and data belong to Preflop Edge.
Ending access
You can stop using the site at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close your account without good reason, we'll refund the unused part of any subscription.
The service "as is"
We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it's provided "as is". We don't guarantee it will be error-free or always online, and we may change or remove features over time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Preflop Edge isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including gambling losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make important changes, we'll update the date above and tell account holders by email. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
